GearUp Rental – Rental Terms & Conditions
This document outlines the complete Rental Terms, Delivery, Pickup, Damage, Deposit, Verification, Extension, and Cancellation policies for GearUp Rental.
1. Rental Contract
By placing an order with GearUp Rental, the customer enters into a rental agreement where usage rights are granted for the selected rental period. Ownership of the gear remains with GearUp Rental at all times.
2. Tenure of Contract
The rental tenure is fixed as per the booking. Early returns do not qualify for refunds. Extensions are subject to availability and additional charges.
3. Payment Policy
Payments include rental charges, applicable deposits, delivery/pickup charges, and optional protection plans. Payments are to be made online or via payment link.
4. Delivery Policy
Orders are delivered as per selected delivery date, typically between 3 PM and 10 PM. Delivery is handled by third-party partners. Customers must report issues within 3 hours of delivery.
5. Pick-up Policy
Pickups are scheduled the day after rental ends, usually between 9 AM and 1 PM. Products must be packed and ready.
6. Damage Policy
Customers are responsible for damages, loss, or theft. Repairable damage is charged at actual repair cost + logistics fee. Irreparable damage or loss requires full replacement payment.
7. Security Deposit Refund Policy
Deposits (if applicable) are refunded after quality checks. Refunds are processed via payout links.
8. Verification Policy
Customers must complete identity and address verification. Orders may be cancelled if verification fails.
9. Data Policy
All customer data is handled securely and deleted upon order completion or cancellation as per privacy policy.
10. Zero Deposit Policy
Certain items are available without a security deposit, subject to damage and loss terms.
11. Extension Policy
Late returns attract additional rental charges. Extensions depend on availability.

GearUp Rental – Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the GearUp Rental website, mobile platforms, and rental services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Rental Contract
Users must be 18 years or older and legally competent under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Rentals may be used by minors only under supervision, but payments and agreements must be executed by a legal guardian. GearUp Rental reserves the right to deny service if eligibility criteria are not met.
2. Nature of Rental
Rental grants limited usage rights only. Ownership of all gear remains with GearUp Rental. Items must be returned in the same condition as delivered, subject to normal wear and tear.
3. Rental Tenure
Rental period is defined at checkout. Early returns are not eligible for refunds. Extensions are subject to availability and approval by GearUp Rental.
4. Account Registration
Users may browse without registration but must create an account to rent. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of account information. Thirdâ– party login integrations may be used at user discretion.
5. Acceptable Use
Users shall not upload or transmit unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content. Any violation of Indian IT laws or misuse of the platform will result in suspension or legal action.

GearUp Rental may cancel orders due to availability or operational reasons and refund eligible amounts. Service availability is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error free.
8. Indemnity
Users agree to indemnify GearUp Rental against any claims arising from misuse, policy violations, or legal non compliance.
9. Limitation of Liability
GearUp Rental’s liability shall not exceed the rental amount of the most recent transaction. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Indian laws. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Bengaluru, India, under applicable arbitration laws. Courts at Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
11. Confidentiality
Users shall not disclose any confidential or proprietary information of GearUp Rental. Privacy Policy applies in case of breach.
12. Communication
By using our services, you consent to receive electronic communications related to orders, services, and policy updates.
13. General Provisions
If any clause is found unenforceable, remaining provisions remain valid. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms
14. Amendments
GearUp Rental reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on the website.
