GearUp Rental – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all rentals, deliveries, pickups, payments, and usage of products provided by GearUp Rental. By placing an order, the customer agrees to all policies mentioned below.

1. Rental Agreement

All rented products remain the sole property of GearUp Rental and are provided strictly for temporary rental use only. Placing an order creates a legally binding agreement between the customer and GearUp Rental.

2. Eligibility & Verification

Customer must be 18 years or older and provide valid government-issued identity proof. Aadhaar Card verification through DigiLocker app is mandatory at the time of delivery/pickup verification. GearUp Rental reserves the right to approve or reject any booking after verification.

3. Rental Duration

Rental duration is fixed at the time of booking. Extensions must be requested before the rental end date and are subject to availability and additional charges. Early returns or early pickups are not eligible for refunds or discounts.

4. Payment Terms

All payments including rental charges, security deposits, delivery charges, pickup charges, damage fees, penalties, and additional service charges must be paid through official payment channels only. Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment and verification.

5. Delivery & Pickup Policy

Standard delivery timing: 3 PM to 10 PM. Standard pickup timing: 9 AM to 1 PM. Customer must remain available during the selected delivery/pickup window. Re-delivery or re-pickup attempts may attract additional charges. Early pickup before the confirmed rental end date/time is not allowed unless approved by GearUp Rental.

6. Late Return Policy

Delay of 3–24 hours shall attract 1 additional day rental charge. Delay beyond 24 hours may attract additional penalties, legal action, or forced recovery procedures.

7. Security Deposit

Security deposits are refundable after successful inspection of rented items. Refund processing timeline: 24–48 hours after inspection. Deductions may apply for damage, delay, missing accessories, cleaning negligence, or policy violations.

8. Damage, Repair & Liability

Customers are fully responsible for rented items during the rental duration. Repairable damage shall be charged at: Inspection Charges Rs 199 + Handling Charges Rs 299 + Spare Parts / Repair Cost actuals. Loss, theft, irreparable damage, severe accident damage, or water damage to electronics shall require full replacement payment based on current market value or MRP (whichever is higher), including accessories.

9. Misuse & Negligence

Any misuse including stunt riding, rash riding, racing, negligence, accidents caused by improper handling, illegal activities, or water exposure of electronics is fully chargeable. Tampering, modification, firmware changes, dismantling, or misuse of safety gear/electronics is prohibited.

10. Electronics & High-Value Equipment

Additional verification may be required for high-value products such as action cameras, Insta360 devices, GoPro devices, intercom systems, and electronic accessories. Customers bear full responsibility for safe handling, mounting, charging, storage, and return condition.

11. Cleaning & Hygiene

Customers are expected to return products in reasonable usable condition. Excessive dirt, foul odor, mud contamination, bio-contamination, or neglect requiring deep cleaning may attract cleaning charges.

12. Inspection Authority

Final inspection authority and decision regarding damages, deductions, penalties, replacement costs, or repair charges rests solely with GearUp Rental.

13. Cancellation Policy

Full refund applicable before dispatch. No refund shall be provided after dispatch or once the rental period has started.

14. Liability Limitation

GearUp Rental shall not be responsible for personal injury, accidents, riding incidents, loss of personal belongings, or misuse of rented products. Customers are responsible for ensuring proper riding practices and safe equipment usage.

15. Legal Jurisdiction

All disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of rentals, services, transactions, or use of GearUp Rental products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India, and shall be governed in accordance with Indian law.

16. Policy Updates

GearUp Rental reserves the right to modify prices, inventory, offers, rental policies, operational procedures, and terms & conditions at any time without prior notice.
